Stone Grit: Fine Diamond = 750
Stone Size: .375" x 2.875"
Product Instructions
Carbide Blades:
Diamond Stones can be used with a sharpening lubricant (water or honing solution) or dry. Smith's recommends their non-petroleum based Honing Solution for best results. DO NOT use petroleum based oil as a sharpening lubricant with this stone.
Place your blade on the end of the stone at the desired sharpening angle and push the blade away from you like you are trying to carve a thin layer off the top of the stone. Use moderate to light pressure when pushing; let the diamonds to the work. Repeat this pushing stroke 3 or 4 times. NOTE: Try to keep the same angle with each stroke. This is the key to obtaining the sharpest edge.
Now sharpen the other side of the blade by placing your blade on the opposite end of the diamond stone and pulling the blade toward you. Again try carving a thin layer off the top of the stone. Repeat this pulling stroke 3 or 4 times.
Continue steps 1 and 2 until you feel your blade is truly sharp. Remember, maintaining a consistent angle and doing the same number of strokes on each side of the blade is the key to obtaining the sharpest edge.
Break-In Period: The initial aggressive cutting speed of all Diamond Sharpening Stones will slow with use. At the same time, the abrasive finish will improve. Do not be confused by this break-in process. It is normal and should be expected. your diamond stone is breaking in, NOT wearing out.
Care & Storage: Always clean your sharpener after use. Clean with a damp cloth or mild brush and wipe dry. Store in fabric pouch.

Introducing the new Mechanical Broadhead Sharpening System designed specifically for the Archery retail category. The new sharpening system is the first of its kind on the market today, and will actually sharpen fixed broadheads as well. The system contains all the tools you need to disassemble, sharpen, and re-assemble a mechanical broadhead. In addition, every step was taken during the design process to ensure safety when handling the broadhead's razor sharp blades. There is a multi-blade wrench for loosening and tightening the broadhead onto your arrow and a broadhead mount in the bottom of the system to mount your broadhead to during disassembly or assembly. There is also a jig to hold the loose blades of the mechanical broadhead during sharpening. A 4' x 1 5/8' Natural Arkansas Sharpening Stone is used for sharpening the blades of either a mechanical broadhead or a Fixed-blade broadhead. The Natural Arkansas Sharpening Stone will actually polish and hone the razor's edge at the same time. No other sharpening products could perform both of these functions simultaneously.
Other features of the Mechanical Broadhead Sharpening System include 6 different size tool bits, magnetic strip in the bottom of the tray to hold small pieces and avoid loss of parts, plastic storage container, and slide locking mechanism. The Mechanical Broadhead Sharpening System allows you to store everything you need in one place.

Product Instructions
Broadhead Sharpening Instructions:
Always keep fingers inside the protective hand guard when sharpening or injury could occur. Secure your boadhead so that it doesn't move. Place the "V" groove that is created by the two tungsten carbide cutting heads over your broadhead blade. Some broadheads may need to be disassembled in order to sharpen entire length of blade. Hold the sharpener at a 90-degree angle to the broadhead blade and with light pressure pull the cutting heads down the blade until sharp. Three or four strokes are all it will take. Repeat steps on each blade.
Broadhead Wrench Instructions:
Do not put your fingers inside hand guard when removing your broadhead or injury could occur. Keep fingers on the outside of sharpener handle when losing or tightening your broadhead. When using the wrench, select the slot that fits your broadhead. Slide broadhead into slot until snug and then loosen or tighten by rotating the handle. Do not over tighten or injury could occur.
Knife Sharpening Instructions:
For safe sharpening always keep your fingers inside the hand guard and your thumb securely on the thumb rest. To sharpen the knife, place the knife on a solid flat surface with the cutting edge facing up. For best results allow about 1/2" to 1" of the blade to extend past the edge of your flat surface.
Position the head of the sharpener at a 90-degree angle to the knife's cutting edge. Draw the sharpener across the blade from the heal to the point while applying a light downward pressure. Repeat this process 3 or 4 times until your knife is sharp.
Reversible and Replaceable Carbide Blades and Ceramic Stones - When the carbide blades or ceramic stones stop removing metal from the knife blade, they can be rotated for use on the other side or replaced. To rotate or replace, remove the two screws and the plastic cover. Remove the blades or stones and rotate or replace. If rotating blades or stones, rotate 180 degrees and place the top blade or stone into the bottom slot, and the bottom blade or stone into the top slot. Replace the cover and two screws.
Care: Always clean your sharpener after use. Clean with a damp cloth or non-abrasive brush. Do not rinse with water.
